Erin Mengeu has enjoyed teaching and inspiring kids for 20 years. She has been an elementary classroom teacher in many different classroom settings, including Project-Based Learning, co-teaching experiences, and full inclusion. She earned her B.A. in Education from Mount Union College in Ohio, and an M.A. from Marygrove University in Michigan. Erin has lead collaborative teams of teachers that she taught with through the years and now teaches graduate courses for educator professional development through Dominican University of California and University of Massachusetts Global. She has spent many years researching in the area of developmental growth and brain development. She is passionate about making learning fun and engaging, and about teaching kids to gain a love for learning. Erin is also currently helping teachers learn effective strategies for developmental growth through her blog, Be Their Difference, which she started in 2019. She’s a proud mom to three energetic children and although Erin is a native of Ohio, she’s learning to love the beauty of her new home in Michigan.
