Teach Like a C.E.O: Create Frameworks for Student-Centered Learning

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Learn the C.E.O. method to master student-centered learning practices. “Stop being a sage on the stage and become a guide on the side” focuses on replacing lectures with student-led activities. If teachers only focus on this one instructional approach, it won’t transfer true ownership to the students.  Learn how to use systems to establish a strong Culture of learning. Create Empowering experiences to replace traditional lessons. Finally, focus on the Operations of management to encourage decision making.  When all three components are in-sync, a teacher will be a true C.E.O. and transfer ownership to students.
