Creating a Culture of Belonging in the Classroom

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Students bring with them diverse viewpoints, values, beliefs and come to us from many different social and cultural backgrounds which can make connecting with others challenging. To build collaborative, engaging classrooms, educators must help students build relationships from the very start of the school year and throughout. In this breakout session, teachers will discover strategies for cultivating a sense of belonging as well as gain access to a unique Mastery Grid that allows students to tap into relationships while making extraordinary connections to learning!
