Educational REHAB: How to Save our K-12 Public Schools

Our K-12 public education system is in crisis and it is only escalating, exponentially, as politics, the pandemic, and new-age curricula divide communities and pit opposing viewpoints against one another. This is a time like no other in history. As a nation, we ask you, what do we truly value and what will you do to save a system? We have an unprecedented opportunity to fully reform K-12 public education through the allyship of relevant, authentic, and knowledge-building learning environments which must involve all community members, not just educators, if true reform is going to take place. Our vision must become a national conversation, altogether, if change is going to occur. Educational REHAB is a call for total system analysis and reform, community voice, full transparency, and accountability at the federal, state, and local levels in order to ensure high quality teaching and learning for all students in the midst of exiting our pandemic which made us all scratch our heads and wonder about where we should go next. We believe that our K-12 public education system is worth saving, instead of bulldozing the system, at large, and we will fight system-killing-cynics to make our system even greater than before.
