Breaking the Blockbuster Mode examines teaching practices we've long-considered traditional and how classrooms can transform for the better with edtech and accessibility in mind. By taking audiences through the three metaphors of The Movie Theatre Model, the Blockbuster Model, & the Streaming Model, we'll take a hard look at long-standing pedagogical practices like direct instruction, textbooks, grades, and late-work penalties and explore how to change those paradigms to better meet the needs of students and families.
