Moment by moment feedback promotes growth better and faster than summative assessment. How do we get feedback? With questions! Knowing which questions promote comprehension, discourse, reasoning, etc. changes the nature of our teaching from reactive to prepared and from uncertain to clear. This session is not just for math teachers, but for anyone interested in learning more about how to question in their classrooms.
