The CDC estimates that 1 out of every 44 children is being diagnosed with ASD, Autism Spectrum Disorder.  Faced with the growing prevalence of ASD, educators should become familiar with the diagnosis and how students may respond to the demands of school.  The goal of this session is to share the history of autism, the significant features of the disability, information about ABA, and the concept of neurodiversity.
