Meghan is a Middle School Math Teacher in the suburbs of Nashville, Tennessee.  She has a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction and is a Nationally Board Certified Teacher.  She spent her first 9 years teaching 7th and 8th grade math in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois before moving to Nashville a year and a half ago.  Although she originally planned to teach high school, she completed her student teaching with 7th graders and quickly realized that middle school, specifically 7th grade, is where her heart is.  She is also the Ambassador Program Coordinator for the Teach Better Team.

Meghan is passionate about building relationships, data, classroom management, student engagement, mastery learning, and grading.  She has utilized The Grid Method in her classroom for years and focuses on individualizing student instruction in any way she can.

In her work as the Ambassador Program Coordinator Meghan is able to work with incredible educators from across the county on a daily basis.

Meghan also loves to spend time with her two pups and her husband, Connor.  Along with reading and spending time outdoors.
